Here we go again.

I can't believe how long it's been since I last had a blog. It's been almost eight years since I wrote my last entry and it was pretty dramatic - I openly came out to friends and family via my blog! LOL! What can I say? Life would be sooo boring without a little drama. Sadly, I put my blog to rest and haven't considered blogging again until last week.

One thing that I absolutely miss was being able to share my thoughts and my journey with others. Obviously the content of my blog wasn't necessarily Pulitzer Prize worthy, coming from a rebellious, Catholic, gay, teenage boy. And even though there weren't many who followed my blog, it was still an opportunity for me to share my story and hopefully share some lessons that I had learned through life, at the tender age of 18.

This blog, however, will be more than that and definitely not as heavy. As I was writing this post, 12 hours before my 21 hour flight to the Philippines, I thought that it would be fun to be able to share pictures and stories of my travels through my homeland. Yes, I was born in Toronto but my roots started in the Philippines and I wanted to be able to share my journey, through this blog.

Once my trip is over, I will continue to write on my blog. What I will write about? I don't know yet...but I'm hoping it'll come to me while sipping on a cocktail, sitting on a white, sandy beach, under a clear, blue sky, with the sound of waves breaking from the crystal, clear waters of the pacific ocean. ;) I'm a bit of jerk, if you didn't already know that.
